There are 87,170 people in Orleans Parish who are food insecure. 52% of New Orleans households are not able to afford basic living expenses. 39% of children living in New Orleans live in poverty. Older adults who are not able to participate in social activities on a daily or weekly basis increase their risk of developing dementia by 60%.



You're invited to dining for a difference


You're invited to Dining for a Difference, a specialty culinary experience to aid in funding Gladewaves' mission to fight food insecurity in the Metro New Orleans area. On May 9th, patrons will be guided through a variety of courses paired with expertly crafted drinks. Held at Annunciation Restaurant, event-goers can expect an evening filled with gourmet cuisine all for a good cause. Attendees are welcome to enjoy lively spirits from 6:00-6:45 pm followed by the dinner of the evening starting at 7:00 pm.
