There are 87,170 people in Orleans Parish who are food insecure. 52% of New Orleans households are not able to afford basic living expenses. 39% of children living in New Orleans live in poverty. Older adults who are not able to participate in social activities on a daily or weekly basis increase their risk of developing dementia by 60%.

Thanks to New Home Ministries, Broadmoor Community Church, and Ubuntu Village for an awesome, successful Summer. Over 8,000 meals were delivered in the Metro New Orleans area.
